We briefly met the wonderful friend who will be taking us to the airport this evening. Yep, you read it right… we’d never met her till this evening!! Her and her husband have given us so much already, but they have offered even more by being available to Mom if she needs them, and an offer to take us to the airport tomorrow. We happily accepted which will give us a chance to chat and get to know her even better! They read our story in the paper in May and she and I have been exchanging emails ever since then so it will be nice to get to chat in person with her for a little while, and to be honest, I can’t think of anyone else I would rather have take us tomorrow.
Tomorrow… wow!!
I don’t know if it’s really hit me yet… I know I’m going to miss my kids. We just put Olivia to bed. Ugh… it’s going to be hard on all of them. I know that they’ll be just fine, but it will be difficult to be so far away from them for so long. Kati’s been weepy & clingy for the last two days.
I guess everyone pretty much knows that you won’t be hearing from me for a couple of days. Hehe I’ll be sure to post as soon as I can!! And, keep commenting(now that they are enabled! THANK YOU LU!!!!)!!
We land in Timothy’s country on Tuesday. We have a little RR meet up planned for Wednesday for dinner. I can’t WAIT to meet other RR families, and their SWEET kids!!
Please, please continue praying for our sweet little boy, his life is about to change in ways he could never imagine! For the good! At least, that’s the plan. hehe Pray for our flights. Pray for our finances, that we have enough money to sustain me while I’m there!! And, for our kids here at home, and my Mom.
Ok… I’m babbling… maybe I need to go to bed… ohhhh suuuure… as if I’ll sleep… hmmm… where’s that Unisom?
