The other side of the world...day 14

Well, today there is only one visit. Our driver needed some time off to spend with his family, so we were very happy to say “Go!” Marina arranged for a taxi for us, but we decided to give Timothy a little break for this afternoon. He is happy to play with his groupa, and we will have him for the rest of his life, they only have him for a short time longer and they’ll never see him again (well, except for little “Danil” because we are going to meet up with his family once the boys are both home!! And hopefully Vlad too. hehe).

Today there was another family in the visiting area, so we all played together for a bit, then we left all of our toys (and mess) for the little guy that was there to play with and we took our little guy outside. He LOVES to slide!! We were out for about 45 minutes or more. We thought we’d go in and clean up and unbundle him and then it would be time for us to go. When we got inside, the groupa was getting dressed to go outside! LOL So, we said our “Pakas” and got hugs and kisses and left him to go back out with his friends.
Once we got our stuff together, we had to wait for our taxi, so we sat outside and just watched the kids play. They really do enjoy being able to run and have fun.

Timothy caught sight of us, and came running a couple of times, but we took him back. I think he likes the attention from the other kids when we are there too. hehe

I was on a covert mission this morning so I only have a few pics to share. I can’t say what the mission was, but I can tell you that it was a SUCCESS!! lol We’re going to meet up with the Bachmans later at the mall for supper, so we ate ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch here in our room. I am so grateful for the little refrigerator!!

Oh yeah… pics… here you go!

Our little bed-head! He has a peice of chocolate too, and got it all over! hehe

His little group outside (I was in the stairway landing taking this through the window!)

Outside time with his friends (the little guy in the burgundy coat at the front of the group, looking to the side is RRs little Danil!!)

  2. I've gotten a little behind, the past few days - i just had to spend some time catching up on your week!!! I hope that things are going smoothly, and you are finding some peace. It sounds like this LONG trip is starting to take it's toll, and I pray you can settle in, and find REST. I pray that your sweeties and mama at home are doing okay, and that the time will pass QUICKLY till you can take Timothy HOME HOME HOME!!! :)
