The very clean little cell phone works this morning!! Thank you God for that seemingly small blessing. NOT such a small one to us though. BIG WHEW!!!
I also just wanted to again say Thank you to those of you who have sent (more) money. Like I said, I know that it will be ok, God did NOT bring us this far to dump us now. But, the human side of me is still a little nervous. LOL I am good at stretching a dime (or a grivna in this case hehe) and will be a very good steward of the money that we have. No new stiletto boots for me!
Holy moly… speaking of stilettos… HOW do the women here walk in those things?? If you’ve been here, you understand, if not… I’ll try to get some pics. hehe
We might get to meet another family who is here today… the Westbrooks… with their little Anna & Victoria.

ReplyDeleteWe did the same thing with a cell phone once. Our son left it in his pocket and it went through the wash. We quick got the battery out, dried it with paper towels the best we could and to deal with the residual moisture, tossed it in a bag of dry rice and left it next to the floor heat register for a few days until all the condensation was gone. Worked great--he used it another couple years. If there is any condensation visible, try the rice trick. Glad it works for you.
