It's soooo quiet... hehe

The older two kids are “out” tonight, one is at the Homecoming dance, and the other is at a friend’s house. John’s working. Olivia is in bed. It’s all quiet here. Well, the dog is snoring. hehe

Maybe I should finish packing the suitcase. We’ll check it at the airport. It will have Timothy’s stuff, odds and ends that I want to have with me while we’re there, etc. Our clothes and toiletries will all be in carry ons. That way if the suitcase doesn’t make it the same day we do, we’ll still have everything we need for the first few days. I’ve learned a LOT from the other traveling Mamas on the RR group. What to bring, what to leave at home, what to eat, etc. I hope I can help future traveling Mamas with my experiences once I’m back home.

There is another little boy in Timothy’s group at his orphanage that I have been praying and praying about. His name is “Danil” on RR. He is a few months younger that Timothy, but he is healthy, and keeps up with the other kids. I hope to catch a glimpse or two of him while we’re there. I’ve been hoping that his family will come forward. If no one has by the time we get home, I’m going to join the campaign to find them for him. He is so beautiful.

It’s been so fun to keep up with all of the families who are in EE meeting their kids, going to court, having their “Gotcha” days. I can’t wait till we’re there too.

I’m thinking I’ll be leaving our blog public while we’re gone. That way anyone who wants to can take a peek. If I decide to make it private though, I’ll give you warning. LOL

October is Down Syndrome Awareness month. Tomorrow I’ll be posting some FACTS about DS. Something to look forward to. hehe
