Four Days...

I’m a little sad tonight. I might have just lost one of my Daycare families. I didn’t mean for it to happen, and I hate that they might not come back. I really love their little guy (and girl too but she is in school now so I don’t see her anymore). He always is the first one here in the mornings. Dad drops him off and after Dad leaves, we change the channel on the TV, and he sits on my lap in the recliner and we watch “Spongebob” together until Olivia gets up. Until then though, it’s just him and me sitting there, sometimes we chat a little (his language skills have REALLY grown in the last few months!). He is such a sweet little (ornery hehe) boy. Maybe one of the reasons I’m so in love with him is that he is adopted. I don’t know much about his background other than he has been with his family most of his life, and they love him very much. He used to be pretty aggressive, but has really come a long way in that area too.

There was a misunderstanding today though, and now he might not be back. That makes me sad.

Today I had to go to Des Moines to have two LAST papers apostilled. Its papers that we’ll hand deliver when we get to EE on Tuesday. It took me SIX hours on the road for 15 minutes in the Sec. of State’s office. LOL Actually, that’s a plug for the SOS office, they are FAST! hehe Anyway, it wasn't a trip I was planning to make, and of course, it cost a tank of gas, my time, and $10 for the papers. Ugh!!

I was emailing earlier with a couple of other Moms about our upcoming trip. I will get to meet one of them when we are in EE because her appointment to get their little boy’s referral is right after ours. I hope we get to meet on the way home too when we both have our boys with us!

I am so excited about the whole trip. We’ll be there a week before we get to meet our little guy, but we’ll fill the time with meeting other RR families, and site seeing. I want to be sure to take a lot of photos so Timothy will have them to remember where he came from someday. Not to mention so *I* will remember our time in EE!!
