Five Days...

I finally sat myself down and worked on the photo book that we are going to take with us next week for Timothy. Being a scrapbooker, I made it a little “fancier” than just a picture book. I even used google translate to make the little labels for the pages. I have a cheat sheet for pronunciation too. hehe

I have to get serious about packing the suitcase in the next couple of days. Laundry needs to be done so we can pack our clothes. Most of what I am taking is already ready to go other than the unmentionables. lol

I will have to call the Secretary of State’s office tomorrow to see when they mailed our new POAs back to us with their apostilles. I was looking at the checking account and the check hasn’t gone through which is a little scary. We can’t afford for me to have to make a trip to Des Moines in the next couple of days but if they haven’t done it, I might need to. UGH!!

Now that the scrapbook is finished, I have a bunch of stuff that needs to be put away, hauled upstairs, etc. I am hoping to get some MAJOR cleaning done tomorrow and in the next couple of days. I don’t want to leave a mess for my Mom to have to deal with for the next few weeks. The weather is supposed to be nice for the next few days so I’ll be opening the doors and windows and letting in some fresh air too. I’ll also be giving things a once over to see what else I can come up with to sell this weekend at our garage sale. I know that there isn’t anything big left to sell. I wish there was. I will put out my jewelry again… maybe someone will buy something this time.

Father, please be with our little Timothy tonight… his life is about to change so much, I can’t wait to show him Your love, and the love of our family. Be with the requests that have been voiced today. Touch the hearts of those who are questioning your will in our motives for loving all of the little ones who are being adopted. Be with the Parkers, and the Smiths especially as they face the unknown things that they are dealing with. There is so much happening in so many places right now. Protect the travelers and keep them safe from any bad things that might happen. Prepare our hearts, and our kid’s hearts for our separation. Give us all the peace that only You can.
