It’s so funny, when we go get him, he is quite the popular little guy right now, ALL of the kids are so excited when we come, they all swarm to the doorway, and when he goes back in, they all swarm around him as if to be asking for all of the details of these new parents that he has, and what he did while he was away. He loves the attention I think.
I saw little Danil again today. He is just the sweetest cutest little thing! And so tiny.
A really funny thing happened today. Of course there is a language issue, and he doesn’t really speak much anyway. We were playing and he just started cleaning things up. It wasn’t time to go yet, so we were trying to figure out what he was doing, especially when he brought us our shoes! He was tryin to get rid of us!
Well, that didn’t happen, we still had like an hour left of our time. The next thing I knew, he was mooning us!! LOL He had pulled his little pants down to his knees! I pulled them right back up and told him not to do that, but then it clicked! I asked if he had to go pee-pee. He nodded and John slipped his shoes back on and scooped him up and got him there just in time! It occurred to me while they were gone that he was packing our stuff up because he knew that meant we would take him back to his groupa room and he could go potty!! I was right because as soon as they came back, he pulled the toys back out and was happy to hang out with us for another hour! LOL Is this a smart kid or what!?
He still prefers me to Papa, but that’s because it’s all women who have taken care of him all of his life. He really is a little snuggle bug though. I just can’t say enough how sweet he is (for the most part hehe). Really, he is like a typical 2 yr old boy (but yes, he is almost 5). Pushing limits, being ornery, but so cute and sweet it’s not a problem. LOL
Here are some pics from today… and I’m also working on a video if I can figure out how to get it to upload! So, there might be one or two at the end of the pics! LOL
The Gate...

ReplyDeleteSo handsome!
ReplyDeleteMel, I am so happy for you. You probably already know this but teaching him sign language may be a great way to work on the communication gap. Babies and toddlers do great with it. In case you need a starting point here is one of many sites I found http://www.babies-and-sign-language.com/free-baby-sign-newsletter-magazine-updates.html
ReplyDeleteI cant begin to tell you how much my children and enjoy following your journey! He is absolutely adorable!! I am so happy for you!!

Oh My goodness Mel!! Timothy seriously could not get any cuter!! I love his little laugh!! We need to get Kullen a phone like that.....what is it?
ReplyDeleteI love that he was imitating the laugh on the phone when he didn't hit the right button!! He is soooo smart, you're gonna have your hands full with him (in a good way of course)!! We can't wait to meet him!!
ReplyDeleteMel he is simply wonderful! God sure has blessed you! Cant wait to meet him :)
ReplyDeleteYou get 5 hours of visitation!?! What? I'm jealous! :) We get from 10-12, but our driver doesn't usually get us there until 10:15 and a nurse usually comes to get him a little bit after 11:30! Although, if we had five hours, Scott and I would probably be taking a nap in the corner of the room, haha! Still waiting to hear on our court date too. Hoping that it is close to yours so that we can meet lil Timothy in Kiev!
