One more day... ONE DAY!!!

In less than 48 hours we will be on a plane… flying across the ocean… to a country where we really don’t know anyone (more on that in a second)… where we don’t speak the language… the country where our little boy, our son, our Timothy is.

The bags are almost packed. John has been working so we need to pack his still, and add the last minute stuff. The money has been gathered (though it’s still not really as much as I hoped it would be but I know God has that covered for us).

Tomorrow I’ll do a last load of laundry, and clean the house. We have to mow our yard, and Mom’s. I think I have everything we’ll need from the store. I think…

Tomorrow we also are burying Dad’s ashes. Mom wasn’t ready until now. Just a small private thing with the siblings and her. Nothing planned really.

There might be some good news on the horizon about our little Danil. I will post when I know for sure!

Ok… homework needs to be finished and submitted before I leave! Better get to it!
Please continue to pray for our trip, our kids, my Mom. And for Timothy.

  2. The wording of your sentence above that you still needed to pack your husband's 'still' cracked me up. If you stayed with Miss Valla like we did, you could just use her still!! She had it all set up one Saturday morning. We watched her brew her vodka all day, stirring and hiding behind the curtains in her house. So if your husband is determined to 'pack his still' - I will gladly give you Miss Valla's address and he can go brew his stuff with her!! LOL!!

I'm so excited for you guys!

Also happy that I can now leave comments.

Timothy is so cute. I have his RR angel tree ornament from last Christmas.

You are all in my prayers.
