Sorry I seem to be falling down on the job of blogging. It’s not like I don’t have anything else to do, it’s just that every day is the very same. Get up, shower, brush teeth, dress, head to visit Timothy. Come home, have lunch, usually walk to the mall to call the kids & hubby, go home, back to the orphanage to visit Timothy. Come home, eat supper, clean up, get ready for the next day. Repeat. LOL
It’s been compared to “Groundhog Day”, the movie with Bill Murray and Andy McDowell. Seriously.
Today though, Cathy and I went to the Mall without Tully & Evan. It was fun. I don’t think either of us have laughed so much in a while. hehe Mostly just because we were being goofy Americans. I’m sure that the store employees were talking about how crazy those women speaking that strange language were the minute we left. Of course, they could have been saying it with us standing there, and we wouldn’t have had a clue. LOL
I found out today that the plan I had to cover my daycare fell through. It was all I could do not to cry sitting there in the middle of the mall when I read the email. I know it’s our dear friend the devil trying to derail what we are doing in God’s name, and honestly, it sucks! I’m so glad that John’s home, and hopefully he got it worked out with someone. I’m going to owe someone else a vacation cruise by the time I get home… that’s on top of the Cadillac I’m going to have to buy my Mom for putting up with all of this. UGH!
Of course, as if that wasn’t enough, I dropped my camera today. And, yep, you guessed it. Broke. Not a happy camper. I got a “cheap” one to get me through the rest of this trip because I am NOT going to miss “Gotcha Day” photos, etc. I talked to John after I got the camera, and the rest of my Pell from this term of school came in the mail… enough to cover the camera and then some. Coincidence? I think not! Thank you God for your continued provision! Take that devil! Ha!
Cathy made some yummy chicken soup for dinner tonight, and we accidentally found some “real” bread at the store this afternoon (the doughy, fluffy kind like at home). For those who have never been here, the bread here is “heavy” not airy and soft like ours at home. It’s not bad, just different, and really makes you miss good ol’ Wonder bread. LOL
This is the only pic I have from today... I was on another covert mission, and did get a few others, but can't publish them on my blog... I'm betting that they'll show up on someone else's very soon though... hehe
YA on half way there! Super COOL chica!!!
