Shopping day!! Woohoo!!

Black Friday. This is the day that traditionally I, and anyone I can con into joining me, drag myself out of my nice warm bed and head to do some power Christmas shopping. There are deals to be had, things to be fondled, and presents to be brought home and stashed in my closet to be wrapped later.



This year Walmart did things a little differently, they had part of their BF deals at midnight. Toys, clothes, etc. That was the draw for me. I wasn’t after any of the big ticket stuff, although, I have to tell you, it is fun to be there just to people watch.


At WM I met up with some friends, and we plotted out our morning together. We headed to Target, then to Big Lots, then to an early breakfast at Perkins. After Breakfast, we went to Menards, Joanns, and Hobby Lobby. After all of that, I grabbed subway for me and the kiddos and headed home.


I am exhausted!! LOL I had a really great morning though, and other than a few small things and stocking stuffers, I think I’m done with my shopping!! I will admit that I didn’t get a lot for Timothy, but he is already going to be overwhelmed with everything on Christmas morning anyway, so I figured a few things would be easier for him to keep up with. Of course, it’s still a month till Christmas. hehe


Tomorrow is gonna be a fun day/night. In the morning the girls have hair cut appointments with Chrissy. Then we’ll come home for lunch and naps, and then to the library, THEN to the Lighted Christmas Parade downtown. I can’t wait to see how Timothy likes the parade!!


At some point, we’re going to move the furniture around and get the tree up. I love the holidays!!


This year is even more special because we all get to share it with Timothy!


He is doing really well adjusting. He still gets into pretty much everything and pushes the limits, especially with the dog (who might just have him for lunch if he’s not careful! ok, J/K). He is cute, and sweet, and so funny!! He’s still eating well, and sleeping well, and fits right in with everyone around here! hehe


Ok… almost bedtime for the littles… and the Mama!
