Today I made chicken nuggets (in the oven) for lunch. Timothy actually ate a whole one! He shared the other one with Molly(the dog). Hey, still, it’s something right? We had oatmeal for breakfast, he loved that.
We went out to look for Christmas trees this morning. Our other one floated away in the basement flood last May. We found one that we both liked, which is a big accomplishment! It’s fun taking Timothy out because he is so funny looking at everything. And of course, one difference here (as opposed to his former country) is that when people see him, most of them smile or say how cute he is.
One of the behaviors we’re dealing with is yelling. He will just burst out yelling, just to get the reaction I think. He’s not hurt, or in need of anything. He just yells. So, we’re trying to figure out how to address that, without duct tape that is… hehe He is pretty aggressive too, throwing things, pushing, grabbing things from other kids, etc. That part is something that will just take time to show him that that isn’t acceptable or nice behavior.
He sleeps pretty well. He’s not happy when it’s time to actually go to bed, but once he’s there, and knows that is where he is supposed to stay, he usually goes right to sleep and stays that way till morning. Same with naptime.
He has been very charming with all of the new faces that he’s met the last few days.
I know, no one really wants to know about our activities, you all want pics… hehe I still don’t have our airport coming home pics, but here are some others from our travels!
Dossier anyone?? When I was packing to go home, I was trying to lighten things up, so the first thing I did was ditch the Dossier! hehe Nearly gave Cathy a heart attack when she saw Timothy playing in the paperwork.
