The other side the world... day 34

I just realized that when I get home I'm going to have to start coming up with snappy post titles again... Ugh!  LOL  

Groundhog day #897!  LOL

Today was about the same as yesterday.  We ate a snack, I chased him down the hallway & back about 48 times, and finally we went outside.  LOL   He’s still pretty cute & sweet though, so I guess I’ll keep ‘im.  Oh, one thing though, Cathy & Tully got him the sweetest pair of new shoes to go with his "Gotcha Day" outfit.  Today I took them to make sure that they'd fit.  They do, but he wouldn't let me take them off! He wore them until we got ready to go outside, then he had to change into his boots, so I was able to snatch them and put them back in the toy bag!  YAY for new shoes of his very own!! 

I’m telling you, I SO cannot WAIT till we get home and he can play with his very own little sister(who is actually about twice his size!) and the other daycare kids.  One in particular is really looking forward to playing “games” with him.  Hehe 

There was, what I assume, a Daddy there today visiting and loving on a little girl that I’d never seen before.  She was absolutely beautiful.  Blonde hair, bright blue eyes… wait… where her eyes almond shaped or was I just seeing things (you know, like when you are pregnant you see a gazillion other pregnant women)… no… I looked at her little adorably stubby fingers… and her little tiny ears…  This beautiful blonde haired baby has DS, I am 99% sure.  I SO wanted to ask, of course, I have NO idea how I would accomplish that, so I just watched this man, looked about 30ish, playing and talking to her, and loving her.  He held her up so she could try to walk, he fed her some fruit.  It was obvious that he cared very much for her.  Her name is Alina, Alinka is what he called her too.  I’m sure that she isn’t on RR because she isn’t available… yet…  Sigh…

I also got the chance to play a little with one of the other RR cuties, Angel.  She is spoken for now, so she’ll be coming home soon!  YAY!!  She is so darling!  And she and Milo (also on RR) are the cutest things together!  They act like siblings (hint, hint Angel’s Mama! hehe). 

I went to the mall to call the family today, and there was a band in the upstairs area so I could barely hear them.  I love being able to see them when I talk to them though.  I miss everyone SO much!!! 

I can’t wait… a week from now we’ll be HOME!!!  Only 7 more sleeps!!
