Today was one of those days that I think back and honestly cannot remember what I got done. LOL
Oh there were the regular things, breakfast, getting kids to school, daycare kiddos, a couple of loads of laundry (bedding today), lunch, worked on Christmas cards a bit (really need to get them done! LOL), supper, cleaned up the kitchen (for the 3rd time!), took Kati to/from baton class… you know, the normal stuff… hehe
I did learn that one of the other dance Moms is Russian!! I did not know this!! She actually teaches English as a second language! WOOHOO!! She told Kati to let me know that I we need anything, she would be happy to help. YAY!! God is STILL providing!!
Tomorrow is an early out from school for Joe & Kati. I’ll only have two daycare kiddos and they’ll only be here till 3ish, so we might just do something after they go. We’ll see… maybe we’ll go see Santa at the mall…
It’s so funny how having Timothy home makes us get excited about silly little things. I keep saying that he is learning so much, and that he is understanding us. Here’s proof… and one of my daycare Mom’s was here too, and she was just as impressed! LOL We finished supper (pancakes! hehe) and he wanted to get down, and signed “all done”. I unbuckled his booster strap and he got down. He took a drink of his milk and put it on the table. I asked him to “Put this in the fridge please”. He took the cup, went to the kitchen and put it in the refrigerator!! Now, he could have just took the cup and been on his merry way with it thinking I was giving it to him to drink or whatever. But he put it in the fridge!! He also throws things in the trash when we ask him to, and when I ask if he needs to go potty he will either say “ya” and head for the bathroom, or “na” and keep doing whatever he’s doing. He has gotten MUCH more comfortable, and will actually go alone now too which is just so strange because he is so tiny it’s hard to remember that he really is fully trained. LOL
Today we also realized that “LaLa” is Olivia!! He was following her around today yelling at her “LaLa”. I didn’t connect it till after he woke up from his nap. He climbed up on my lap and said “LaLa” and had a look like “Where is LaLa?” I didn’t know what to say so I sort of blew it off. When Olivia came out, he said “LaLa” and hugged her!! LOL So, we have Mama, Papa, Ba (Joey who we call Bubba), and LaLa (Olivia)… still working on Kati (we call her Sissy). And we need to figure out Grandma too (Olivia gave her the name "Nonnie").
Have I mentioned how blessed we are? God has blessed us so much with all of our wonderful kids. I am so thankful for each of them and what they are to our family and to me. I’m so proud of them.
Sweet! I think you have a keeper there, Mel. I can't wait to see Paisley discovering all these wonderful things as well.

It is just amazing how much he is picking up in such a short amount of time! He sounds a lot like the level of my 19-month-old (which, it has taken him 19 MONTHS to pick up what Timothy has picked up in 2 WEEKS!) I sure couldn't learn a new language that quickly. Yay for all of you!
