Two more days left of 2010!

Gosh, HOW do I top yesterday’s toilet excitement!? hehe

Today was pretty low key. Got to go out to lunch(John stayed with the kiddos). I had the BEST bacon cheeseburger pizza! YUMMY!!

Later, I had to run to Target, and someone approached me and said, “Mel?” Yep, I’m a celebrity! I’m recognized in airports ½ way around the world, and even at home at Target! Oh, wait, our town isn’t all that big, maybe that part isn’t as exciting as being recognized in Germany, and really, it wasn’t so much ME that was recognized, it was Timothy… ok, talked myself right out of that exciting moment. LOL

Seriously though, a woman did approach and ask if I was Mel. When I said “Yes” she introduced herself. She is a gal that used to work with John before we started our journey to bring Timothy home. When she found out about our efforts and our needs, she donated to our ChipIns. I was SO excited to meet her, I hugged her right there in Target! LOL!! I’ve been telling John that we need to get in touch with her and go visit her to introduce her to our little guy! I got to tell her that in person today! I hope she gets in touch with John so we can arrange for her to meet him. *Don’t forget to call him LouAnn!!*

I am hoping to have a little “open house” type gathering for people to come meet Timothy once the holiday excitement has settled down. So many people were instrumental to our fundraising, and our sanity while we were working to bring him home, I just want to give them a chance to see how awesome he is in person!

It has been fun to see how many sweet little ones are finding families over the last few weeks. LOTS of them!! God is moving people to action, and it’s SO awesome to be a witness to such miracles. And to be a part of it ourselves. Thank you. Thank God!!

  1. Why would she be calling John Louann? Don't forget to call him Louann...just kidding. I'm kinda slow on the uptake sometimes, had to read it once or twice before I actually got it... I know, it's bedtime, yeah, that's it....
