Rules are made to be broken, right? hehe

We all know that kids don’t come with an instruction manual.  But, when you adopt a child from Ukraine, they do come with a couple of “rules”.  Don’t let them play, lay, or sit on the bare floor, that makes them infertile (and you thought our old wives tales were crazy!!).  Don’t ever take them outside with less than ten layers of clothing & a hat (no, really.) they’ll catch a cold for sure.  Don’t let them have cold things to eat/drink, it will upset their tummies.
Well, tonight I broke one of the rules.  I know, I know, hard to believe that *I* would break the rules.  hehe  Don’t call our facilitator!
Olivia loves her Dora Popsicles.  He has had a bite here and there, but tonight, he climbed up in his chair, snapped the strap on the booster seat and signed “More”.  I told him no, and he got very upset.  Ok, why no?  He eats his yogurt cold (always has, even in UA), he has started preferring his milk cold too.  So, why not a popsicle?  Yep, I decided.  So, I made him the happiest little guy and gave him a Dora popsicle.  He LOVED it, of course!!

Ooooh... coooooold... yummy!!

Did you know this thing is cold?

Dora Popsicles are Livi's favorite!!
Hey, what's this stick in here?

Yep, LaLa, Dora Popsicles are yummmmy!!
