We had a very nice morning at church. Our worship was awesome. Our potluck was yummy as always. I think the Borscht was a hit, I didn’t bring much home! Yay!
Olivia is feeling better, I’m not sure she’ll be going to school tomorrow though. We’ll see in the morning.
At naptime, we all gave kisses, and put him in his bed. Olivia was in her room for her nap. I did a little cleaning and went to check on him. There he stood, in a pajama top, a pull up, socks, and shoes(no pants LOL). His clothes were in a pile next to him. LOL I ran for the camera before I took his shoes off and made him lie down. He is too dang cute sometimes!
Timothy was very snuggly tonight. He is just so sweet. He has been home a month tomorrow. He has learned so much, and there is something new every day. I noticed tonight that he is giving kisses, not just letting us kiss on him. He actually kisses back! I know this really isn’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things but it really is. He is giving us affection and it feels wonderful. He just wanted me to hold him earlier. I was quite happy to oblige. hehe
I can’t wait to see his reaction on Christmas. I wonder how Christmas was for him before he came home. Did they even “celebrate”? Did they get a gift? A special meal? I wish I had thought to ask someone.
I think tomorrow I will finish the baking and the laundry. LOL I didn’t get them done today. The kids will be out of school on Thursday for “winter” break. Olivia has her class party on Tuesday. I so hope she is well enough to go! I would hate for her to miss it. I’d like to take the littles to the mall to see Santa one evening this week too, although if we don’t that’s no biggie.
I read a long list of blogs. I have many new friends through this adoption journey that we've taken. I have been blessed over and over. I have learned so much from each of them, from their journies, from their sharing of their families, and their hearts.
There is more to our story. Things I'm not ready to share just yet. Sounds, feelings, sights...

Sorry to hear this time is a rough time for you. But you know what? You and your hubby got the best Christmas present ever! Little Timothy. You have great friends, even if you have never met them in person! having siblings not talking to you would be hard but hopefully they get over it and realize what a great person you are.
