Busy-ness & Blessings!

Today has been busy.  It was Olivia’s class “party” at school.  I went over to be with her.  She still isn’t feeling 100%, but she isn’t running a temp, her nose isn’t really icky anymore (it’s never been really icky, just clear stuff, I know TMI, sorry!), she just has a cough.  She is VERY good about “coughing in my elbow so no one else gets sick, Momma”.  They had a cookie decorating party.  It was very sweet, and the kids all seemed to enjoy it a lot.  I took pics of course!  hehe
When I got home, I found Timothy playing in the book basket.   The other kids were piling toys on him.  He was loving it!  Once he got out, he thought it might be fun to pile them all on Daddy.  hehe
Today was a day of blessings as well.  While I was at the school, two different people told me how much they love Olivia.  She is an “old soul”.  People just are drawn to her.  I am so blessed to be her Mom.
We were also blessed by a generous group of ladies (I assume it was all ladies, there might have been men too I’m not sure)from a local place who “adopted” our family for Christmas.  This was a group who did it just because.   One of the ladies goes to church with us, and they have followed our journey.   I cried.  Does anyone see a pattern here?  Man, I cry a lot! LOL  Seriously though, I was so touched to meet a few of the ladies, and am so grateful and humbled by their generosity.    I will be taking the kids in after Christmas so they can meet them.
I’m so happy and excited that one of my adopting friends had “Gotcha Day” today!  Their boys are safely in the arms of her husband and two of her older kids and on the night train to the capital for the Embassy stuff with hopes of being on the way home on Friday!!  YAY!!
Please pray for the government officials in Ukraine.  Tomorrow they will be voting on whether to close international adoptions.  There are a lot of other details that go along with it but that is the jist.  There are many many precious children’s lives literally hanging in the balance.  If this passes, there are families who are there in country right now who may have to come home without their children.  This is a very scary thought.
It’s been a little while since I posted pics, so here ya go!
I have NO idea what he was doing here!  But isn't he CUTE!? hehe

Ok, pile 'em on, I can hold them all!

Better yet... let's pile them on Daddy!
