Today we received a HUGE blessing, one that many people might not "get"!!! My friend Ginny called this morning. She lives southwest of here, but was coming to “town” today to do some shopping. She offered her hubby’s plumbing talents to us for our messed up toilet. My first instinct was to say “no” because I didn’t want to put them out, and make them go out of their way, etc, etc. I think that was the “old” Mel. The “new” Mel said, "YES, PLEASE!!” because they were offering, and we really need a toilet. LOL
Gary & Ginny got here after lunch, and within about an hour’s time, the toilet was FIXED!! He took it off, and snaked the drain from the toilet to the tub (after he went to the basement he was 99% sure that nothing was in that small section of pipe because of its size. The tub drains fine, so he knew that part was ok). This meant that the problem had to be IN the toilet itself. Ok, easy enough, right? HA!! Have you ever really looked at the bottom part of a toilet? The water goes up, and around, and then down the drain. Which meant, he had to get something up and around inside of it to see if he could get whatever it was that was stuck inside of there out. Eaaaaasy!! HA!!! Once he figured out which direction he needed to go in, he used a coat hanger (just call him MacGyver!! hehe) and viola! He pulled out a FIRE TRUCK! Huh?? I saw a washcloth go down!! Apparently, Timothy thought after he flushed the washcloth, he’s send the rescue squad in to save it! Ginny & I had a nice little giggle. I offered to pay him, but Ginny said no, but I did tell them they need to let me know next time they are coming here and I'll make them lunch or supper!!
Once again… awesome friends to the RESCUE!! God is STILL providing!!
Is anyone keeping track of how many blessings we’ve been given recently? I’ve lost count!
I know that God does AWESOME things for people so that someday they can testify to His provision and power. Wow… we’ve seriously got a story to tell!!
Thank you God for my friends. For people who are a blessing to me and my family in ways that they may or may not know, Lord, please bless them and let them know how much they mean to me.

Oh Mel, that story cracks me up! Rescue squad indeed! I think it's time for a trip to Walmart, safety latch that porcelain throne immediately. No one is safe with Tman on the loose! Poor defenseless toilet...
