What a crazy day!!

**153**  Yep… we are a statistic!  I’ve been a statistic a few other times, but this time is at the TOP of the excitement list!!    I bet you are wondering what in the world I’m talking about… if you aren’t in the RR world.   153 children came HOME in 2010 through Reece’s Rainbow.  How COOL is that?  Timothy is just one, but a very important one to us.
Today has been a little better than yesterday, thank you for your prayers, and thank you Lord for your blessings.
I was cruising through the email this morning and there was one from Andrea Roberts, the title of it was “New article!”  YAY!!  I figured Reece’s Rainbow was going to be in People Magazine again (they were in last year, and also got the Hero of the Year award).  Never in a gazillion years did I expect to open that email and read:
The DeLlanos family made the Chicago Tribune, congrats on tremendous media exposure!
 Chicago Tribune Article“ .

WOW!! God is still using our little guy!  I hope that story brings someone to find their next child.  That would be so wonderful!  We might never know, but God does, and that’s all that matters!

This afternoon, I picked Mom up and we ran some errands.  Something happened today that has NEVER happened to me in all of my 25+years of driving.  I ran out of gas!!  Thankfully, we were in the Walmart parking lot, only a few dozen yards from the gas station!  I put it in “N” and pushed!  LOL  A guy who was getting gas saw us, and the gal that was working there was outside at the time and saw us too, and they both came and gave us the final shove we needed to get to the gas pump.  How totally embarrassing… but completely lucky that it happened where it did!  I guess now I know just how long and how far we can go on “E”!  LOL  Ugh!

After the errands, we went back to Mom’s and I showed her a few things on her computer.  I bet she’s up half the night printing recipes.  hehe

Church tomorrow, then I’m SCRAPPING!!!  I can’t wait!!  I wish someone would come join me cuz I always get more done when I have company, but oh well.  I sooo need to get back to work on my scrapbooks now that Timothy is home!!

Don’t forget to chip in for the Lanes!!  They still need quite a bit to get their girls home.

Thank you for your prayers and know that they are coveted.  God is good… always!!

  1. I wish I lived closer to you Mel! I love scrapping but my groups have kind of disbanded and I miss it.
