The decorations have left the living room... hehe

Whew!    Today was a busy day for me.
We got up this morning and went to church, learned about fearing God.    After church, came home and fixed lunch.  While everyone else was eating, I cleaned the bathroom and replaced the toilet seat (I know, TMI   lol).  Got the laundry ready to go and then John took over doing that.  I cleaned the kitchen, which included cleaning out the refrigerator.  Then I sorted out all of Olivia’s clothes and put them all back in drawers.
After that we undecorated the house.  That tree came out of the box SO much easier than it went back in.  LOL  Dusted, vacuumed, rearranged a few things to fill in the hole left where the tree was.
Kati needed to do her science fair experiment, so I took her to the park so she could do that.  I took the pics for her.  Then, dropped her off, and ran to Walgreens to print the pics.  Got home, time for supper.
After cooking, eating, and cleaning up the supper mess, I decided I better tackle (and yes, I mean tackle!) the girl’s room.  I should have taken pics of that before and after.  Ugh… what a mess!!   I sorted through the toy box, rearranged some things to make room for the new Christmas stuff, and got rid of all of the broken, torn, icky stuff.   After that, I went through the daycare toy box too.  Got all of the “lego” blocks back in the block box, and Timothy’s stuff in his toy box, and books in the book basket.
John gave Timothy his bath, I gave Olivia hers.  Little ones are now in bed, Kati is working on the finishing touches of her science fair project, John’s doing his thing, and Joe is doing his.  And I am finally sitting down for the first time since around noon.  LOL  Phew!!
The follow up to our article about Timothy that ran in our local paper in May was in the paper today.  Will told me that it would likely be on the front page, and I just figured he meant on the front page of the Lifestyles section, or whatever.  Nope!  Front page of the paper… my big ol’ pic!  LOL  I did like the story, he did a really good job with it, and the photos are awesome!  I need to email the photographer and see if I can get copies of them, and any of the other hundred or so that he took.  LOL
Anyway… if you want to see it, you can go to   The Hawkeye
There were a couple of details he mixed up, but he did pretty well.  There have been several comments left after the article.  People just don't get it...
Ok… time for a shower and maybe some mindless television.  hehe
