Just how many times does a person have to say “Get your pajamas” or “Please stop trying to smother your brother?” before a 4.5 yr old listens? Really, I’m wondering. I’m sure it’s at least 47. Well, tonight any way. I’m a little frustrated tonight, so I’m sure everyone has decided that it’s “lets-see-how-crazy-we-can-make-Mom” night and they forgot to let me in on the plan.
It’s not going to take much more, I’ll tell you that. 7:30 seems like a fair bedtime tonight, right? Ugh!!
It seems that Timothy has regressed in the potty department. He has been so good about communicating that he needed to go, or going when we take him. For about a week, he has just been going where ever he wants too. This includes sitting on the couch and just pooping his pants whenever the urge hits him even if we have just been to the bathroom. He KNOWS how to go on the potty. He KNOWS how to poop there too, and we sit there with him while he’s in there. We’ve tried giving him some privacy, but he just gets up and pees all over if someone isn’t in the bathroom with him. I’m done with this mess though; especially since I KNOW he can do it the “right” way. It’d be different if he was just training. I got so tired of cleaning up the pee and the two poops today that I just finally put him in a pull up. I hate doing that though because I don’t want him to think it’s ok to pee and poop in his pants.
Oh sure… just as I’m typing that, he comes out and smacks me on the leg and signs “I love you” and “Momma” Sheesh!! This kid knows how to get ya!! LOL
He is doing better in other areas. He is eating meat finally. His choice of course, so sometimes he will sometimes he won’t. Tonight he did. He ate half of a cheeseburger. YAY! He signs so well, and if we aren’t getting what he needs, he lets us know, and shows us!
I have been saying it a while now, but I know he is understanding more and more English. Yesterday after church, we were all un-bundling and I asked him “Do you want your shoes off?” and he sat down and held up a foot! Hehe

Aaaaahhhhh… finally… it’s almost quiet. Kati is still in here watch TV which is fine, but I had to just tell her to hush… she has a habit of commenting on e v e r y t h I n g… UGH!!
Boy… I guess I needed to just complain tonight. LOL
This morning Olivia asked me when she gets to see her cousin because she didn’t get to see her at Christmas. LOL I told her I didn’t know because everyone is still mad at me. She was so matter of fact, she said “You have been home for 50 weeks, she needs to just get over it”!! That settled it at that moment but she asked me something similar again tonight. She decided that I need to “just go to their house and tell them to stop being mad at you so I can play with XXXXX”. Out of the mouths of babes…
