Ooops! I forgot to post Mon & Tues!

As I am sitting here typing this, Timothy is buckling his “ya-ya” ( baby doll) into a baby car seat (it’s one of my daycare baby’s.   He signed for “help” to get her buckled in, so I did that, after she was all buckled in, he kneeled down and kissed her.  I always kiss the kids as soon as they are buckled into their seats in the car!!   I’m telling you, this kid just amazes me!!   Ok, now he’s switched over to another doll, she is a learning Lily frog, if you push her right foot, she sings, etc.  He just squeezed her foot to turn her on all by himself.   He has just learned so much!!  I can’t wait till we get the speech therapy started so maybe he will actually talk.  I know he can learn.
We went to the ophthalmologist on Monday.  We have a prescription for glasses.  He has pretty bad far sightedness.  His right eye is the stronger one; they are hoping that the glasses will help strengthen the left one.   If not, we’ll start patching the right.  If none of that works, they will do surgery to correct the strabismus.  It doesn’t seem to be affecting things now (he’s a kid how could you tell? hehe ) but it might when he is older, dizziness, blurred vision, etc., so we need to get it corrected or as good as we can before he goes to school.
Kati’s school had their Science Fair on Monday.  She wasn’t one of the ones chosen to move on to the second round, I think she was more bummed than she let on but she got over it pretty quick.  Her BFF Kelsi did move on but I don’t think she actually “won”.  In Jr. High they have to do science fair projects and participate in the science fair.  Once she is in High School she won’t have to and I’m sure she won’t choose to, she really doesn’t like stuff like that.  LOL
Really not much else to report from here.  We got about 5 inches of snow from the “storm” that just blew through.  I know that the east coast is going to have much more, and the south got some too.  We lived in the south when it snowed a few times and it gets crazy down there when it snows!!  I’m happy to be in Iowa where the plows come out before the roosters crow and everything is generally business as usual when we get snow.  hehe
Here are a few pics from the last week or so...

Wearing Daddy's hat!

Being silly, looking through the back opening.
