Timothy is sick. It’s just a cold, but it is a little scary because this is the first time he’s been sick since he’s been home. I did notice him tugging at his ear a couple of times today so I think I’ll call the pediatrician in the morning, just in case. He also had an icky “blow out” but in thinking about it, I don’t think that was related… I think it was because I let him have some juice and didn’t water it down. BAD Momma!!
Something exciting happened tonight though… he ate pizza!! Ok, I know you are thinking, “Yeah, so?”. But this is HUGE!!! He is a bread eater… no meat… no sauce… he would only eat the crust until tonight. I have been leaving the things that he won’t eat in front of him because I’m learning that he will actually eat it if I wait it out. Well, most things. I’m sneaking meats in on him more and more. hehe Grind it up in the food processor and mix it in with his macaroni or rice. Muahahaha!!
Timothy has picked up a bad habit. Yes, I know, he has only been home for two months, but I’m telling you he is a SMART kid. Of course, there are some things I wish he wouldn’t learn! LOL He puts his hand on his hip (his right one) and stomps his right foot when he is trying to make a point, or thinks that he should get his way. I have to tell you it is really very funny!! I mean, here he is thinking that that is just gonna be what changes my mind and I will give in to whatever, and in reality I am trying SO hard not to crack up!! hehe By the way, he learned it from Olivia… it doesn’t work for her either… LOL
I’m so excited and happy for several of my adopting friends!! The Buricks dossier has left the country!! YAY!! The Spitzs, the Sterns, and the DeVowes all brought their sweet kiddos home today/yesterday!! It is so exciting to see the excitement and the blessings of new families being “born”. God is soooo good!!
