Lazy Sunday Afternoon!!

Today has been a sort of lazy day.  Kati had her friend spend the night last night, so she came with us to church this morning. 

After church we came home and had lunch.  Once the littles were down for naps, we just watched TV for the afternoon, of course, when I woke up, it was about an hour and a half later.  hehe   After that, cleaned a little, had supper, cleaned a little more, got the littles to bed a few minutes ago, and here I am.   It was a nice day really. 

In the morning, Timothy and I (and my Mom) are heading to the U of IA for his ophthalmology appointment.  I hope hope hope that they can correct his strabismus.  I’m betting we’ll end up with glasses at the very least.  Should be interesting…

I’ve been taking suggestions for themes for Timothy’s birthday party.  He will be 5!  I’d like to have it in a big “public” type place so people could just come and go, something like an open house so people who haven’t gotten to meet him can come.  I dunno… in the brainstorming phase right now.  We do need to decide though because I want to make the invitations.   John doesn’t really care… as long as there is cake! 

Next Sunday at church they are giving him a “Welcome to the Family” shower.   We’re having a potluck too.  I just love the fellowship & our church family is such a blessing to me (and John too hehe).
