A short one...

Ugh!! I wish I was rich and famous and could afford to have someone else deal with my taxes! There, I said it. hehe Been working on my receipts for my daycare families tonight. I’ve also been working on the stuff for the adoption refund.

We had the nicest visitors tonight. There is a local lady who is actually from Russia. Her daughter is in my older daughter’s dance class (baton). I didn’t realize that she is Russian until after we brought Timothy home. John met her at the college a couple of weeks ago. She brought her daughter and they came over for a visit tonight. They are so sweet, they also brought Timothy a cool truck that sings the ABCs, and lights up. He was in heaven showing off for them. She spoke Russian to him, and he recognized it I think, but didn’t really respond much (but he’s non-verbal for the most part). It was so nice to visit with them, and for him to hear his native language, even if he didn’t remember it much. They only live a block or so away. I told them to come anytime for a visit. Her daughter just loved playing with Timothy.

We have been so blessed by the new people that we've met through our journey to bring Timothy home, and since we've been home.  People we might never have met or given a second thought.  God knows that we need our friends, and He has blessed us so much.  I’m sick. I have a cold. My head is stuffy, my throat hurts, my nose is runny, etc, etc. Maybe I’ll go to bed early tonight… yeah, right… ok, after the weather… yeah, that’s it…

    Hey Mel,
Hope you feel better. I'd say eat chicken soup but since we're both on Atkins maybe you can just lick the spoon. Get some rest!

    Love finds a way,
