Nice weekend

I woke up yesterday with a really bad headache.  I was able to rest a little though, and eventually it went away.

Chrissy came over and we got to scrapbook for a few hours (ok, like 8 hrs!).  I didn’t get to go to the crop yesterday, so afterward; she came here to continue her crop.  hehe We had fun.  I needed the “adult” interaction for a little while. I got a bunch (like a year’s worth) of photos sorted, and into the storage box, and 12 pages done.  I’d call that progress especially considering I hadn’t worked on any pages since like September.  Maybe I’ll get caught up with everyone’s scrapbooks before the year 4017!  lol

Today at church we had a potluck lunch.  I just love those because it’s a great chance to see what other people like, and taste other’s cooking.  I have to say, I’ve been to a lot of potlucks in my day, and I think our church has the best cooks!  Yummy!  Today was special too because it was our little “Welcome Timothy” day.  Funny too because it’s been exactly 2 months since “Gotcha Day”!! 

He is so sweet and cute.  Tonight when the girls and I were upstairs scrapping, he got so upset.  John called me down to see what I could do to help.  I had no idea what was wrong.  He sat on my lap for a minute, and then got down and started playing like nothing was wrong.  He just needed Momma for a minute!  Smart kid.  hehe
