Say Cheeeeese!!

Today was the day of our Portrait Fundraiser with Amy Tobias! She is a wonderful photographer; she does SUCH a great job!! She donated her time and talent for the afternoon to help us raise money for our adoption. It was fun helping out, and playing with all the kiddos. I’m telling you though, she has some serious staying power, she has been having troubles with her back this weekend and still did this for us! We made around $600!! YAY!!! I can’t wait to see the photos! BIG thanks to all of my friends who came out today too! You all are awesome!

Well, next Saturday is Olivia’s Birthday party. There’s not a lot of “planning” involved there, so that’s good. hehe We’ll have cake and ice cream, and fun at the Fire Station(her request).

My focus will switch toward the rummage/tent sale on the 21st now. I’m going to try to start sorting through things to see what we’ve got out there so I can be sure to list some in the ad for the newspaper. I’m pretty excited about it. I just pray for a good turn out and lots of people with giving hearts.

Thank you God for not leaving me even when I’m in a dark place. Thank you for holding me, and bringing me back to the light. Thank you for friends, and family, and all of the blessings that You have given us. Please continue to hold us, and our little guy. Please please send us some good news from the USCIS this week... Amen.
