I think my head might explode!!

There comes a time in a Mom’s life when she just has to sit back and say “I’ve done all I can do”. Oh, who am *I* kidding!? Yesterday I was trying to think of every way I could to get through to the Officer at USCIS who was literally sitting on our case file. I contacted the Senator’s office already, so I went for the Governor’s office yesterday. I exchanged emails with a very nice lady there, who promised to look into things, and also to pray for our family and Timothy.

I decided to call and see if I could talk to a supervisor, or if there was ANYONE who could get our file out from under our officer and get it approved for us before I headed to Des Moines to get the other parts of our dossier apostilled so I could get it faxed for approval. Anyway, I asked the lady that answered if she could give me the status of our case. Unlike the last time I called, this lady was nice, and said that she could certainly check for us. I gave her my name, and she checked it. “It appears that it was approved on Monday 8/23” I think she said other stuff after that, but I’m not sure… she lost me after she said APPROVED!!!

FINALLY!!! APPROVED!!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!!

This has been such a nerve wracking time waiting for this step to be done. The rest of it HAS to go smoothly, right!? LOL

Our next step after we actually get the 171h in our hands (tomorrow or Fri) is a trip to Des Moines to get everything apostilled. Once that is done, we fax it all to Luda who will check it all over, and let us know that it’s all in order, and then we SEND it to Timothy’s country for translation and submission. Gulp!!!

We’re finally moving in the right direction again!!! YAAAAAAY!!!!
