Ok, so, I told John to chill out (not sure it worked, but he’s at work so it’s ok hehe), got a new vacuum (on sale too! woohoo!), kids are in bed (so it’s quiet, and no pouter for now), left the meeting 20 mins into it to take Kati to baton. Calgon anyone?
Last night was a short one for me. Meaning I didn’t sleep all that well because of a vote that was supposed to happen in Timothy’s country. At 10 am our time it was supposed to be happening. By 10:15, we had an email from Andrea… the vote has been postponed indefinitely. Praise God!! This could have been devastating for so many families, and so many children who are waiting.
Tomorrow is Kati’s 13th Birthday. Wow, how did that happen!? She is having a sleep over /party on Friday/Saturday.
Thursday is the first anniversary of Dad’s death. Some days it seems like he’s been gone much longer, and some days it is really fresh. Hard to think that it’s been a year.
So much has changed over this year. Good changes though.
Thank you Lord for watching over our children who are waiting to come home. Thank you for taking care of them until we can be there. Thank you for your continued provision. I love you.
