We are also blessed with RR “family” members who are on this journey with us. I have hoped all along that I’d have a chance to meet up with Maria, it looks like we might get to do just that. In Eastern Europe! Who would have ever imagined that? God! hehe
I’m so excited and so looking forward to meeting as many other RR families as we can in our travels.
There is one family in particular who will be getting there at the same time that we are, their appointment is just an hour before ours, AND they are heading to the SAME region as we are, and the SAME CITY!! Their daughters are in another orphanage, but we are so happy that we’ll have companionship through it all while we’re there. I will be staying through our waiting period, so knowing that there will be other Americans (who speak English!! hehe) so close is very comforting! And, another little detail? One of the little girls that they'll be bringing home is one that I would have happily snatched up if we could have brought home a little girl. I can't wait to meet her and see her finally with her Mama!!
Thank you God for your provision!! It comes in so many forms and is just amazing!
I'm so excited for you to be traveling soon. I can't wait to see Timothy in your arms. :)
ReplyDeleteWe traveled with another American family to the orphanage Dasha was in, who was not a RR family, but it definitely made the whole trip much more fun and bearable. My husband actually flew to and from the US with the other family on the pick up trip too. It really is a blessing to have other Americans to talk with, eat with and bond with while surrounded by so many unfamiliar foreign things.
