I didn’t get to go to church today; Olivia has been congested, and had a runny nose. I’m thinking it’s an allergy thing, but this morning she just didn’t feel good. When she doesn’t want to go to church, you know she doesn’t feel good! So, we cleaned the house. Then we had lunch and Olivia laid down for her nap.
I’ve been doing laundry, some mending, and working on the purses that I wanted to work on. I’m stuck though, so I can’t really do much more until Mom can come over in the morning and show me what to do. It’s not a typical pattern, it’s just written, so there are no pics to go by and it’s written funky because the lady that wrote it is clueless. LOL
I did try my luck at making Flan tonight though. Unfortunately, when I went to flip it onto the plate, I didn’t get it centered so it is all crooked on the plate. LOL Oh well, it tastes pretty good. The real test will be tomorrow when John tries it.
Still not sure what we’ll be doing tomorrow. I wouldn’t mind if we just hang out here. I know John needs a day “off” with nothing pressing happening. I wouldn’t mind one of those too.
It’s time again to kick the fundraising into high gear. We have GOT to come up with the last “bit” that we need. I am SO hoping that our Volleyball tournament is a success.
