It's Sunday here in SE Iowa...

It’s been a nice, quiet day today. We started out with breakfast, just Olivia and I. She and Daddy have a Sunday morning tradition of going to McDonalds for breakfast, but he had to go straight to church from work this morning, so I got the pleasure of her company. The older kids didn’t want to go this morning, of course, I didn’t mention breakfast. I was looking forward to a little one on one time with my littlest one. Over breakfast burritos, we had a nice conversation about lots of different things, and then we headed to church. We got there just a minute or two late, but hurried to Sunday school. I sat in the hallway and chatted with our Pastor’s wife, Janelle for a little while since I didn’t want to interrupt by going into a class late. We had a nice visit.

After church, John took Olivia home, and I headed to the grocery store and Walmart. I had a little grocery list this week, so I decided to get a few things for our trip. I got some Dayquil, Nyquil, Tylenol, immodium, and melatonin. I also picked up some ziplock bags for packing the liquid stuff (shampoo, etc), splenda, salt & pepper (the disposable shakers), some crystal light mix ins for my water, a small backpack to use to take things to/from the orphanage for our visits, and a compact umbrella(Jenny said to be sure to bring one and all we have are the HUGE ones hehe). I also got some toiletries. I need to get busy with our packing lists so I’m not running around like a chicken with my head cut off the week before we leave trying to get the “little” things. LOL

After the groceries, I came home and put things away and de-cluttered a bit and then I've just been lazy. hehe I have laundry to do, and scrapbook stuff to put away, and, and, and... and it will all be there tomorrow, so I'll tackle it then!

We have two fundraisers coming this week!! Our last “official” ones!

Tuesday the 14th we have a 24 hour pendant sale! Sarah, from Sarah’s Treasure Box is going to donate $5.00 for every sale made to our FSP. I’m so excited!! I would LOVE to sell 200 pieces! Can it be done?? We’ll see!!! hehe

Our last fundraiser is our Volleyball Tournament. We will have a raffle, and a 50/50drawing, 6-on-6 volleyball games. That is this Friday & Saturday!!

Please pray for our fundraisers. God knows what our need is. He will provide.
