Today was a typical Saturday. Well, sort of. I got up with Timothy at 5:10, ACK!! At 7:45ish John got up and I headed back to bed. LOL I actually slept for a couple of hours which was nice.
Once I got my lazy self up, I got lunch for everyone, and then headed out with Mom to do some errands. Kati had spent the night at a lock-in with her BFF at her church and then had to do “booth sales” with her GS troop this afternoon. John had to work at 2. I got the groceries, and a few things for tomorrow’s party. I still need to pick up the balloons and the cake & ice cream. Oh, and drinks, and plasticware. LOL Anyway, that will be after church tomorrow.
I took dinner (homemade chicken potpie, and store bought cheese cake) to our Pastor’s family. We had four new babies born this month so some of us signed up to take meals to the families. I LOVE doing that sort of thing! Seriously. Anyway, I got a peek at the new little one! Oh he is so teeeeeny!! And has so much hair!! What a beautiful blessing.
We came home and had pizza for dinner (gotta love take and bake from HyVee!). The littles got their baths, and tucked in for the night, and Kati and I have just been hanging out watching TV.
Tomorrow church, lunch, kids naps, and the big PARTY! Woohoo!!
