Friday again? How'd that happen?

I haven’t updated in a couple of days so thought I’d try to write a post tonight.  I have two extra kids at the moment.  One of Kati’s friends, and Olivia’s little friend is here too.  Kati’s will leave in a bit, Olivia’s is staying over.

Timothy has been dancing around for the last hour, NO kidding, with a little toy microphone that plays “Be our guest”.   LOL  He’s too funny!!   I took him with me to run a couple of errands with me this afternoon.  He is so sweet, and SO much easier to take out than when I had him in Kiev.   He still grabs at things if I get too close to the shelves, but not nearly as bad!

Remember little Alexander that I posted about a few days ago?  He has a FAMILY!!!  I’m so excited for him & them too!!!  They are in Indiana, and my fellow adopting Momma friend is the one who helped them make the decision to bring him home, so we’re hoping to all get together this summer!!  It would be SO fun!!  I can’t wait to see little Vlad home with his family too!  Two of the kiddos from Timothy’s former orphanage will be coming home soon!!  They were submitted yesterday!  “Tanner” & Vlad.  YAY!!!  Now if we could just find Masha’s family… and Vera’s… they have both been on my heart lately…

Not too much else happening around here.  I got our taxes done.  I’ll get all of the paperwork together tomorrow and Priority mail them to the IRS.  The H&R Block website said 5-7 weeks to get our refund.  I need to get moving on getting some bids on the work we’re hoping to have done on our house with the money.  We’re also hoping for some furniture.  We’ll see though after I give Mom what I promised her, and the house stuff what is left.  I’d like to earmark a bit for a trip to FL to visit John’s side of the family so they can meet our new little guy. 

My friend Jennifer and her hubby (Andrew) are as we speak flying over the ocean to bring their beautiful little girls home!!  There are several families in country right now that I’ve been following.   I just love reading about other family’s adventures. 

Gonna be a busy weekend, Girl Scouts for Kati, CPR class for John (he teaches), church on Sunday and then two Birthday parties back to back (YAY!!).   Timothy will get to meet some new people on Sunday at those parties too, so that will be fun too!! 

There have been some posts on our RR email group about various people (family & friends in general) who might not "approve" of the decisions that those of us in the group have made to adopt, or to adopt special needs, or to adopt from another country.  Someone posted this tonight, and it is SO true...
