The weather is beautiful today so the windows are open, and the winter "stink" is out of here! I'm getting that itch to clean things out, and simplify, and organize. This is a good thing since we'll have our HS coming up soon(God willing!). I told Joey this morning that I'd be cleaning his room out soon and all the junk we find that is sell-able is going to be sold. I'm telling you that kid accumulates "stuff" like a squirrel packs away acorns! I've been looking at fundraising websites again today. There's got to be something "easy" out there that we can do for BIG money, right? Ok, maybe not, but a girl can dream!
I do have to tell you about a blessing that arrived in the mail today. We ocassionally have tough weeks where we're not all that sure which bills are due and will be paid, and which have to wait a week. For some reason this month has been a tough one for us (I think it's Satan's way of saying, "HA! You can't even pay your bills, how can you raise the money for a little stranger!?"). It's because there were five weeks. Anyway, I have accumulated a little stash of money for our adoption fund, but it's van payment week. John asked me this morning if I could pay the van payment, it usually comes out of his paycheck but this week he needs to pay for new glasses (he is diabetic so we have to keep on top of his eyesight). Darn, I was hoping to be able to stash a little more in our adoption fund this week. Of course, I said yes, I would pay the van payment(darn those regular bills still needing paid, don't they know we're trying to save!?). In today's mail I received a check from my college, the rest of my grant money for the quarter. I thought I'd already gotten it, but nope! Guess how much? Yep! The van payment!! God is GOOD!!!
