I've been busy this morning

I feel like I have accomplished quite a bit today. In between the diapers, Sesame Street, dancing & singing, learning a new word in sign language (today's word is "thank you"), breakfast, lunch, and the subsequent clean up that is! Ahhh... the life of a Daycare Mom. :) I wouldn't trade it for the world! Remind me I said that next time I write about the kids making me nuts!

I have lined up some things for my "Crop to Adopt" event in May. I'm thinking about a Spaghetti Lunch/Supper at our church, and maybe one of the others in town. I'm thinking about things I can make for our 4th of July street fair, and trying to figure out how the Puzzle thing that one of the others on the RR group posted about would work here. I also signed up for the Magazine sales, and have been thinking about whether I'd be able to sell Mother's Day flowers (with the help/donations from a local nursery). Whew!!

I told my Mom about it all and I think she was a little surprised that I am really doing this. Not that she doesn't or wouldn't support our decision and totally LOVE our new little boy. She is on board all the way. I just hadn't really mentioned it in a few days so I think she thought I had given it up. hehe

I'm still making a fundraising ideas list, and still checking out other adoption families blogs for inspiration and ideas too. :) Right now it's naptime for the kiddos, so I better get some thing constructive done while they are sleeping!
