I have an "easy" day today with the kiddos, and right now it's naptime, so here I am. Of course, I have the laundry washing, and the kitchen is already cleaned up from lunch so it's "break time". hehe
I upset my brother by posting for the world to see, and not talking to him (warning him! lol) about our new addition. I'm sooooo sorry Todd!! I'll make it up to ya! :)
I have been sewing some new spring/summer stuff for Olivia for the last few days. I'm almost finished. When I'm done she'll have 8 tops, 4 prs of shorts, and 6 dresses. One of those is her Easter dress that she'll wear on Sunday to church. She's my fru-fru girl, so she is loving all of the new stuff, lots of gathers and "twirliness". hehe
I am going to start working on making more tote bags, purses, and diaper bags after I'm finished with all of that. I want to have a good assortment for our 4th of July sale. I'll have people wondering "Vera who?" after they see my creations (Vera Bradley for those not familiar). LOL I just loooove fun purses and bags! Hopefully others out there do too!
Good Friday. I have often wondered why they call it "good". I mean, what is good about the way that Jesus died? He was beaten, and spit upon, and hung on a cross to die with common thieves at his sides. Although, if all of that hadn't happened, there would be no Easter Sunday for him to rise, and show the world who He is, and why He went through all of that. We would all still be unforgiven, and the world would be a much worse place that it is. I guess it's "good" afterall. Thank you God.
