Now it's come to saving pop cans, and finding loose change, and not eating out, and, and, and. For what?? To save the life of a precious little boy on the other side of the world. I wish I could post his photo. Soon though.
So, I was texting with John a little while ago, he's at work. And he mentioned that he has a whole bunch of people coming to his next CPR/First Aid class on Friday. He was amazed at how many people. He told me a few days ago that after his next class, he would put any money that he makes from teaching the classes in our "Bring Bug Home" fund. Well, a normal class is 6 people, he has about 3 times that, which means more money. I told him that God heard the deal he made with me the other day, so He is sending him more people! He is providing us with more "work" so that we can raise the money to commit to our little boy. I told him that I took two more daycare kids on today too (and any money that I make from them being here will go to our fund as well. Do you know what that husband of mine said?? He said, " I love you and I trust your heart. It'll happen." Isn't that just the sweetest thing?
Of course, what I didn't mention was that I've had a day of doubts today. What if we don't make enough for the income requirements? What if we can't get all of the necessary paperwork together? What if Bug's country doesn't think we're good enough to be his parents? What if we can't get the money together to go get him!?
That's the human side of me. It's the devil making me doubt. When I look at the things that have happened since God spoke to me about our little boy, I can't doubt that He is in this, and right here guiding every step of our journey.
There is a scripture on the top of every page over at Reece's Rainbow...
"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act" Proverbs 24:12
We need $2275 to get our home study done and the committment to our little boy. I pray for him everyday, and pray that God's will is for us to be his forever family.
