The year is almost 1/2 gone

June 1st. Wow. It's so funny to think of the year as being nearly 1/2 over. I mean, a LOT has happened in the first half of 2010.

I sincerely hope that the second half of the year brings even more joy to our lives.

Today was semi-productive. We got our passport applications in. We got a letter that says they got our I-600a from Department of Homeland Security. I copied, folded, and stuffed into envelopes, 45 letters to area businesses asking for donations for our rummage sale/auction/raffle. I dropped them in the mailbox this evening on my way to Walmart to get milk.

Of course, while I was at WM, I had to check out the clearance goodies. I found more things for Timothy. Some shorts, some shirts. I also got him some socks. Add that to the jacket, 3 prs of pjs, pants, and teddy bear that I already have for him, and I think we're good to go(well, that's what we'll take with us, we'll buy other stuff for him once we know his size for sure!). I need to get him some pull ups (not sure if he is potty trained).

There's a storm coming... I PRAY that it's not bad... and that there's no flooding...
