Our Homestudy is >< close to being DONE!!

Our social worker ROCKS!!!! She said that she would focus on getting our HS done this week, and she did!!! She emailed the "draft" to me tonight. Oh my, I am so stinkin' excited!!! I sent it back with some info that she needed, so it should be all "official" tomorrow! YIPPEE!!!

Here is the very best part:
"I do not hesitate to recommend Juan and Melissa DeLlanos as good prospective adoptive parents. I recommend Juan and Melissa DeLlanos for the adoption of one (1) male child from the country of XXXXXX, up to (5) five years of age with special needs such as Down syndrome and other associated developmental delays."

Just getting that report, and reading all of the things we talked about in writing, and getting her recommendation is so exciting! I know, I'm goofy, I'll admit it. LOL

Along with the HS report, tonight I also got some emails from our statside helper with a list of the paperwork that we still need. The only things needed are papers that need our passport numbers! Well, the USCIS approval letter too. Our SW is going to mail a copy of our HS to USCIS to join our application, so we should be getting our fingerprint appointment soon. After that, we'll need the ever coveted I-171H (approval to adopt our guy from our government). Then, apostille everything, and off it will go to his country in a big ol' package! Then the real waiting will begin... the appointment/travel date for the SDA(when we'll need to be in his country!).

I'm babbling!! I tend to do that when I'm excited! LOL

I think I'll go look for the address to send our marriage licenses back to FL to be apostilled.
