So today, we spent time together. We all went to the library and got some books. Then we had lunch with Mom & Stacey and her boys. After that we went to Hobby Lobby, I needed a couple of things for the lanyards I am making to sell. Then we took the kids home so that Olivia could take a nap. John and I headed to the grocery store to do the weekly shopping. By the time we got home, Olivia had napped, and everyone was ready to go to the movies. Kati’s BFF Kelsi came with us. We saw “Toy Story 3”. After that, I dropped Kati and Kelsi at Kelsi’s house, Kati’s spending the night there tonight.
Came home, and my friend Carrie came over to scrapbook for a couple of hours, I worked on my lanyards and she did a couple of really sweet pages for a scrapbook that she is doing for a co-worker.
It was such a nice day. I love it when there’s nothing pressing that we have to get done on the weekends.
Of course, tomorrow we will go to church, then home for lunch. John has to work tomorrow (which is why we went “out” today), and I will have to do homework all day. This is the last week of class for this term. I have a research paper due too, and a final. I am also hoping to get to work on the pants that I need to hem for my friend Kelly’s wedding.
John and I talked about our trip a bit more today and we looked at some things at Walmart. Carrie is going to let us borrow her big suitcase, so that is one less expense that we’ll have (Thank you God!). I really need to make (or print out) the packing list so we can start collecting things a little at a time for our trip.
