Kati had a softball game tonight. John really doesn't like sports, well, watching anyway. He's pretty competitive, and I think he feels like not going is better for Kati than his going because he'd most likely be critical of her "technique" (or in Kati's case, the lack of technique). She has gotten so much better this year though, I'm very proud of her for even playing!! I love going, I love watching baseball on tv or going to real games too though, so that might be part of it. Anyway, they lost tonight. No biggie. hehe
When I got home, there was some email from our stateside team about some of our dossier paperwork. We have to re-do John's employment letter yet again. This will be number 4. We're heading in for the 3rd re-do of his medical form too. And, we got our copies of our Home Study today, and it will need to be re-done as well.
NONE of these things are really all that big of a deal to re-do. Inconvenient? YES! It's the "Again?" comments or the "This is so stupid" remarks that go along with it. Ugh... I know, I know. It's just that this is SOOOOO important and Timothy's country is particular about things, which is fine too. That's just how it is.
Then, I get a grade from one of my classes... a *51*. Yes, you read that right, a FIFTY-ONE. I think this particular professor has it in for me. I think she thinks it is her duty to knock me out of my 4.0 status.
It's a chocolate-hot bath-go to bed early- kind of evening. Of course, here I am.
I'm not feeling discouraged exactly, just sort of deflated. There are a few other things bothering me too that I don't really think would be appropriate to post about. Nothing serious, but when you pile it all on top of one another, it's just been a rough evening.
One of the good things is that we finally got our last check from the insurance company. We still need to replace the hot water heater, and I had to get two new tires for the van but we have a good little amount saved toward our "Timothy fund".
I've been making things to sell at the 4th of July craft sale again too. I'm even thinking of maybe beading some jewelry. We'll see.
