There ya go Honey! John said I needed to update. There you have it.
Still waiting for passports... still waiting for fingerprint appointment...still waiting...
Ok, in all fairness, I have been working on collecting a few things for our trip. I think I have pretty much all of the necessities for Timothy. Clothes, a jacket, pajamas, socks, pull-ups (don't know if he is potty trained), a new Elmo toothbrush & toothpaste (toddler kind in case he doesn't really know how to brush and spit). The only thing I didn't get for him was shoes. We'll get those over there. On the advice of one of the other RR Moms, I think we're going to try to pack in duffel bags and carry our bags on with us. IF we do need to check something, it will be the gifts, books, and Timothy's stuff. That way if it arrives late, it will be ok. Our clothes, meds, etc will be in our carry ons. I have a few little toys for Timothy, and will pick up a few more things. I just am really so unsure of what to get. I'm trying to get things that are for about a 2 yr old, just because there will probably be some "delay" with his developmental age. :::shrugging::: So not sure... lol I'm not all that sure what to take for the orphanage, or his groupa either. Hand sanitizer is a treasure there, so I have some little bottles of that. I'm making some beaded necklaces for our facilitator, and will get her some goodies from Bath & Body Works, and some fun little things and maybe an outfit for her little boy(he's 6). I'm not all that sure who else I'll "need" to get goodies for though. Hmmm... I'm going to email my "team" tonight about that.
I'm feeling better than I did the other night. I have a few little things that I've been doing to make extra money, alterations, teaching a class at a Summer Enrichment thing for kids for a month ($900!! YAY!!), I'm even writing articles for a few bucks a piece to help. I'm working on things to sell at our 4th of July craft fair too! Ugh!! Money is evil!! LOL
Thank you Lord for your provision. Thank you for our blessings, and for the wonderful people who have helped and are helping us in our journey to save our little Timothy.
