Seriously, she arrived a little before 3, and I kept her talking till a little after 6. John said that he was telepathically trying to tell me to quit talking so much! LOL We had a nice visit. She was given the tour of the house, starting with Miss Olivia showing off her Hello Kitty bunkbed. We gave her all of the paperwork that she asked for, she asked questions, and gave us some good information and advice. It was so nice to just sit down and chat, it was like we'd known her forever. I did warn her that babbling is something I do when I'm nervous! lol
She was able to bring her family and make a little mini vacation of the trip, so she didn't stay for dinner(she missed a yummy roast and potatoes and carrots) or dessert (strawberry shortcake!).
She will be back tomorrow for another visit. After that, it's just a matter of waiting for her to get the report to us, and we'll be another step closer to Timothy!!
I have been working on dossier paperwork all along, so we have about 1/2 of that already done. Our POAs & CSP are on their way to his country already. John's doctor's appointment is next week. We'll get passports applied for this week.
I bought a few things for Timothy today, just some pants, a shirt, and a little bear. Gotta LOVE the clearance rack!! hehe Oh, and a pr of Buzz Lightyear Pjs too! I don't even know if he knows who BL is, but he will soon enough!!
Tomorrow will be a busy day, a quick trip to Walmart to pick up a B-day gift, church, drop girls at B-day party, one of us (probably John since he doesn't know where the b-day party is, and I do) will come straight home because our NEW washer and dryer will be delivered between noon and 4, last home study visit at 1, and a graduation party at 5!! Eeeps!! I still have to work on homework in there somewhere! Maybe I'll go do that now instead...
Thank you Lord for giving me such peace today. It could have been a day full of nervous craziness, but instead, it was a nice calm day. Thank you for bringing us to this point, and guiding our journey to bring our special little boy home.
