One of the Moms that I have gotten to know is frustrated that her church didn't seem willing to help with their fundraising efforts. Thankfully, they have since heard from the church and have a meeting to see what they can do to help.
This made me think of how grateful I am to have the church family that we have. John has been very active in our church for about 3 years now. I have not. I had grown "away" from going to church, and in doing that, I had also lost track of where I should be with God.
Who knew that a sweet little blonde haired boy on the other side of the world would work such a wonder in my life? I have gone back to church, but more importantly, I have gone back to God too.
Our church family is so very supportive. They have welcomed me back with open arms, and they have promised to pray for our family and our journey to bring home our little Timothy. Those who could have donated to our Puzzle fundraiser. They ask how we are doing with the process.
I know that the prayers of our church, and our friends and family are what are making all of this possible. God is so good. Thank you Lord for our friends & family!!
