Got a few more things accomplished today

Paid the water bill. Ok, that has nothing to do with the adoption journey, but it still needed done. LOL

I mailed off the fingerprint cards, and background check requests today. One more step closer!

It's so exciting on the RR yahoo group the last few days!! SO many commitment announcements in the last few days!! It’s so awesome that God is calling so many people to go and grab these special little ones from an existence that is just barely humane. I’m so happy that my friend Maria, the same one who “showed” me my Timothy, is finally able to say that her little girl will be coming home. Her name on RR is Taya. She’s a sweetie pie! And my other friend, Seegal, found her two twinkies on RR too! Evelyn and Vaughn will soon be coming home to live in a wonderful family with lots of brothers and sisters!

We are about 1/3 of the way to our goal of “selling” 110 pieces of Timmy’s puzzle.
I’d be lying if I said that I am not worried about the money. I have seen God blessing us though, and I KNOW that He will continue to do so. I’m human…humans worry. Mommies worry… it’s our job. hehe

Our next steps are the Crop to Adopt, and our Garage Sale. After that, FINALLY our Home Study with Carla($930). We also need to get our I-600a and $830.00 sent ASAP. So… in the next couple of weeks, literally, we need to find $1730.00. I hope that the two events I have coming this month bring in LOTS of money. Sigh… Please God, send us generous people.

I’ll close with something that He showed me just a few minutes ago. I’ve been working hard to get my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration. I realized that I have just 12 credit hours left to earn my degree! I will be finished by the end of August!! I have been hoping to travel in August. God’s timing… He is AWESOME!!!
