All done!

The Garage Sale that is! We made a little over $800. I used it to send in our I-600a today! It should be there on Monday. YAY!! John took it to the PO this morning, and says that he was trembling the whole time, he was so nervous because it is so “official”. LOL!

We borrowed some money from a friend (which will be paid back ASAP) so that we’d have enough to pay for the HS and our USCIS fees.
We still have a BUNCH of things that can be sold. We’ll have another sale the weekend of the 11/12 of June. We’ll also still be taking other “stuff” from friends and family to add to our sale.

I wrote a letter to local businesses today. I will set to addressing envelopes in the next couple of days to get them mailed out. I’m hoping for some things to raffle or auction off. So… pray for the hearts of our community retailers to be open.

I would LOVE to make this an annual event. Each year we could send the proceeds to Reece’s Rainbow families who need sponsored. I might not be able to bring any other little ones home, but I can help the ones who can!
This week the focus is on our Home study!! I’ve already started cleaning and de-cluttering.

It’s so hot in here though. No AC because of the flooding last week. I have to do some more listing for our insurance claim, but hopefully it will be settled soon so that we can get the repairs done. UGH!!
