Happy Birthday Dad

Today would have been my Dad's 79th Birthday. That is odd, I didn't ever really think of him as being that "old". LOL I know it's been a rough day for Mom, but she went shopping and out with her friend, and then the kids and I took her out for supper. I know it's not the same, but I didn't want her to be alone today. I planned on making his favorite dinner and cake, but it's been so hot that I just couldn't bear the thought of cooking, or cleaning up without my dishwasher. Sorry Dad! It's the thought that counts, right? lol

It's been such a tough month.

On a good note though, one of my adopting friends got her approval today, AND they are bringing home their little girl and a sweet little boy too!! I can't wait to hear all about it!! I'm still hoping that we'll all be traveling together, and we'll get to meet each other's kiddos. It would really be a cool end to our "story" of this journey. She was the one who helped me find my Timothy.

Please continue to pray for our approval to come. I just need this part to be done so we can move on with the next step.
