Friday night... Ooops... Saturday morning!

Spent a little time tonight in my scrapbook room with my friend Chrissy, and Kati. Olivia was mad that she didn’t get to join us. We didn’t go up there till after 8 though, and she was already getting tired and cranky. I have everything put away, and did a few other things. Maybe tomorrow I’ll actually get to work on a page or two. I have been concentrating so much on making things to sell, and trying to figure out how to make more money for our adoption costs that I haven’t done anything up there in quite a while. I’m so far behind on the kids books… and now I have another one to keep up with. hehe

Speaking of another child… One of my daycare families is expecting a baby any minute now (he was due on the 23rd, but Mom is in labor now). I’m so excited for them! I just love their girls, and having a boy is such a blessing. Mom has been sick most of the pregnancy, it’s rough on her when she’s pregnant, and I know that the last few weeks especially she has been uncomfortable and ready to just have him and be done! Hopefully by morning we can go visit little Noah Ryan!

Joey has a friend over tonight. Tomorrow we’ll have cake and ice cream for him to celebrate his (gulp) 15th Birthday. I can’t believe he’s going to be 15. His actual Birthday is Tuesday.

I called USCIS this afternoon. Officer Murck (the guy in charge of our case) was very nonchalant about telling me that it “might be next week, or the week after” before he “gets” to our case, but we’re “towards the top of the pile”. Waaaaah!!! I have been hoping and praying for our dossier to be submitted in July. We finally have everything we need… except the approval from USCIS.
I’ve been working on grant/loan applications this evening too. We have been working hard but we’re still going to fall short without some major help. Sigh.

I guess that’s about all I’ve got for tonight, other than to say THANK YOU to those of you who have donated to our Family Sponsorship Page at Reece’s Rainbow. I don’t even know some of the people who have donated. God is good. He is providing for us… for Timothy.
