Just life...

Let’s see, what’s the news from my little corner of the world.
Not much of anything really!   LOL
We went to our county fair on Saturday.  Timothy’s first time!  Oh my, he was SO NOT impressed with the animals!  Hehe   Actually, I wonder though, if it was the flies that he was freaking out about.  He gets totally crazy when he sees one in the house!
I registered the kids for school today.  Gulp!!  We have a Junior(Joe), an 8th grader(Kati), a Kindergartener (Olivia), and a Preschooler(Timothy).  As the parent of a Junior, I get to help with the Prom/Post Prom stuff too!  I am SO not ready for this!!  LOL!!   I’m pleased with the teacher that Olivia got this year, and of course, Timothy will be back with Miss Kim.  Love that too!   I was a little nervous about Olivia and my nephew being in the same class but my brother’s wife probably requested that he not be in her class (we’d hate for her to be a bad influence on him dontcha know).  Whatever…
I’m hoping that Timothy’s prescription comes tomorrow so I can get him started on it on Wednesday. I’d like for him to have been on it as long as possible before he goes back to school.  The other kids go back on the 18th of this month; he goes back on Sept. 7th.
I guess our next big event is Olivia’s Birthday.  She will be 5.  It’ll be fun telling people I have two 5 yr olds and having them try to figure it out.  Hehe   I’m not sure what she wants to do for it yet, she has swung between Chuck E. Cheese(not likely), going to a movie and taking a couple of friends, and a few other things.  It will be interesting to see what we end up with.  LOL
This weekend is our Iowa tax free weekend for clothing/shoes.   We have some shopping to do.  I admit, it will be fun shopping for Timothy this year since I now know what size he wears!  LOL
Ok… bedtime!

  1. I wish we had a tax free weekend; we could really use that, too! I'm having the same trouble, trying to figure out bday party plans. Joel requested a "Ninja-Fishing-Firehouse-ChuckECheese party" (I asked how we'd do that, and he said, "Just squish 'em all together, Mom!") Have fun getting ready for SCHOOL! :)
